Project

ESILARANTE is a project financed by the MUR as part of the PRIN 2022 call and aims to characterize and develop a portable sensor platform for the detection of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), based on laccase-based biosensors produced through the green ElettroSpray Deposition technique ( ESD).

Universities, research centers, and businesses for the Italian Energy Transition.

The NEST Foundation is the core organization and sole point of reference for the implementation, coordination, and management of the "Extended Partnership" in the field of "Future Energy Scenarios, line 2a: Future Green Energies".

ELDORADO is a project funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities, and Research (MUR) under the PRIN 2022 call. The goal is to develop a new 2D perovskite active layer for use in a solar cell and optimize its integration into a tandem device to increase the energy conversion efficiency of a commercial silicon-based cell.

The goal of the project is to create single atom platforms, using organic templates obtained via the on-surface synthesis method. The focus is on 1D and 2D nanostructures with innovative characteristics and able to stabilize single metal atoms for applications in catalysis and magnetism.

#PRIN2022 e #PRINPNRR2022: CNR-ISM will play a central role with a total of 19 projects approved including 7 as Principal Investigator in the fields of innovative materials, energy, sensors and biomedicine.

The aim of the project is to integrate the energy produced by solar cells and biomasses into a compact storage module to power electric micro-networks of rural communities poorly served by national services. The focus is placed on the improvement of a hybrid system and on the use of the production residue, enhancing both the energy value and the environmental impact.

The aim of the project is to identify useful strategies for the formation of new low-dimensional nanomaterials through the on-surface synthesis.
The focus is on the use of organic nanostructures that are able to stabilize single metal atoms for applications in catalysis.

Understanding how a specific molecule performs during complex biological processes is a challenge in biomedical research, despite extensive biotechnological advances in recent years. A new major EU FET project that sees the involvement of CNR-IBBR and CNR-ISM, iSenseDNA, is now focusing on developing a technology to identify what a change in a molecular structure means for its function.

IBIS ECO

Funded by the Basilicata Region as part of the complex research and development projects "CORES", the IBIS ECO project (IoT-based Building Information System for Energy Efficiency & Comfort) started in January 2022, involving CNR-ISM for the fabrication of hi-tech sensors of polluting gases.
ISM will represent the partner able to satisfy the requirement to supply Key Enabling Technologies (KET), together with the leader Scai Lab, within the consortium.

A good start to 2022 for the EFSL lab: we are officially part of the NFFA European network!
