EOS - Organic Electronics for Innovative Research Instrumentation

Development of new organic materials for the realization of electronic devices and integrated circuits for scientific applications.

Development of new organic materials for the realization of electronic devices and integrated circuits for scientific applications, e.g., ultrafast switches, photon and electron detectors. ISM-CNR activities were focused on (i) ab initio investigation of known and novel organic semiconductors, as a support for the synthesis of new materials, and (ii) simulations of the assembly and of the electronic properties of organic semiconductors in contact with metal electrodes, functionalized by self-assembled monolayers of surface modifiers.
