Water-based electrolytes, aprotic solvents electrolytes or ionic liquids will be considered. As electrode materials, two-dimensional compounds such as, for example, MXenes, will be preferentially studied, also considering the possibility of their use in multivalent ion batteries. The devices will be studied by means of cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, galvanostatic cycling and then coupled to the photovoltaic cell to study their charging process by illuminating the cell itself.

Requirements:
