The aim of the International Cooperation CLaN project is to strengthen the participation of the ISM-CNR Tito Scalo branch to international scientific research networks focused on the definition and dissemination of innovative integrated laser based methodologies for the production and characterization of nanomaterials of technological interest for R&D by: a) optimize the laser ablation in liquid experimental technique for the production of colloidal nanomaterials by characterising both process and nanostructures obtained; b) synthesize conductive organic systems (pi-conjugates) and combine these with the nanomaterials obtained by laser ablation in liquid for the generation of new nanocomposites; c) design and implement a time resolved (120 fs) spectroscopic experimental set-up for determining both transient absorption and fluorescence of the systems under investigation
