The communications on Ultrafast Spectroscopy will encompass time-resolved spectroscopy in absorption and photoemission in the Terahertz, Vis-UV, VUV, X-ray wavelength range and theoretical methods to interpret the experiments. The workshop will also focus on the experimental facilities: table-top sources, high harmonic generation (HHG), and free-electron lasers (FEL). The applications will concern photovoltaic materials, quantum materials, wide gap semiconductors.
List of speakers:
- Stefano Lupi (Dipartimento di Fisica, Università di Roma Sapienza) - "Terahertz Time Resolved Spectroscopy in Quantum Materials"
- Andrea Marini (CNR-ISM, Montelibretti) - "Coherent phenomena driven by ultra-short laser pulses: insight from an out-of-equilibrium theoretical approach"
- Paola Luches (CNR-NANO, Modena) - "Ultrafast electronic and structural dynamics in photoexcited cerium oxide investigated by pump-probe XAS at the Eu-XFEL"
- Giuseppe Ammirati (CNR-ISM, Roma) - "A multiscale study of semitrasparent active materials for photovoltaics"
