CNR-ISM will participate in the celebrations of the International Day of Light promoted by UNESCO with the online event: "International Day of Light: A Symposium@ISM".
Alexey Kavokin, Massimo Altarelli, Fulvio Parmigiani, Francesca Calegari, Hrvoje Petek and Federico Capasso will be guests who will talk about their research related to light with a look at the perspectives and challenges for the future.
The purpose of the event is to present cutting-edge research that uses light, in its various forms, using a language accessible to an audience of non-experts in the sector.
For CNR-ISM it will be an opportunity to present some of its laboratories where light is the protagonist in scientific research.
The symposium will take place on the 16th May from 10.30 to 16.30 live on Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube from pages of the Istituto di Struttura della Materia.
