Within the FisMat conference, jointly organized with the Conference of the European Physical Society - Condensed Matter division, the Istituto di Struttura della Materia proposes a mini-colloquium dedicated to "Materials & Devices for Solar and Thermal to Electrical Energy Conversion", organized by Daniele M. Trucchi and Alessandro Bellucci.

This session aims to analyze the latest technologies developed for the conversion of thermal energy into electrical energy, with a view dedicated to hybrid devices and the use of solutions based on nanotechnologies. The presence of invited speakers of international standing is expected.

The conference will be held in Milan at the Politecnico di Milano from 4 to 8 September 2023, while the deadline for submitting abstracts is set for 15 April.
