First plenary meeting in Matera of the IBIS ECO (IoT-based Building Information System for Energy Efficiency & Comfort) project, funded by the Basilicata Region as part of the "CORES" projects.

The first plenary meeting of the IBIS ECO (IoT-based Building Information System for Energy Efficiency & Comfort) project was held on Friday 14 October at the headquarters of the lead partner SCAI Lab at the House of Emerging Technologies in Matera. The project has been funded in the framework of the complexresearch and development "CORES" projects of the Basilicata Region. The scientific coordinator Alessandro Bellucci and the involved colleagues Daniele M. Trucchi and Antonio Santagata were present at the meeting for ISM. The meeting was very fruitful, allowing to outline the next project activities and clarify various aspects that involved several partners. In particular, for ISM, which s responsible for the activities addressed to the construction of hi-tech sensors for polluting gases, the discussion with the colleagues of SCAI Lab and CNR-IMAA, involved in this common work package, was extremely positive. The project, which will end in December 2024, will have the most important output in the installation of the IoT platform (also including the sensors made by ISM at TRL7) in the two identified demonstrators (on the university campus of Matera and in the elementary school of Montemurro in Val d'Agri) which should take place in January 2024.
