The contact angle setup is composed by a Face CA/A contact-angle meter. With contact angle measurements it is possible to probe the wettability of a solid by a liquid. The contact angle (or wetting angle) is defined as the angle between the surface of the liquid and the outline of contact surface: values approaching zero represent cases of complete wetting of the surface; on the contrary, high values of contact angle are related to bad wettability.
