The Ruth Lynden-Bell Award has been granted to Alessandro Triolo

During the 7th International Conference on Materials based on Ionic Liquids (ILMAT), held in Porto, Portugal (21-24/11/2023), Alessandro Triolo, researcher at CNR-ISM, was awarded the Ruth Lynden-Bell Award by the European Society for Ionic Materials (ESIM).
This prestigious award is a recognition of his distinguished scientific career in the field of ionic liquids, solvents utilized in sustainable development.

In its 3rd edition, the prestigious Ruth Lynden-Bell Award has been presented to Alessandro Triolo, the scientific coordinator of the Ionic Liquids Laboratory at the CNR - Istituto Struttura della Materia (CNR-ISM), in recognition of his significant experimental contributions to advancing knowledge in the field of Ionic Liquids.
During the conference, Triolo also delivered a plenary lecture on: "The Mesoscopic Landscape in Ionic Liquid-Based Materials."
He will also be responsible for organizing the 8th edition of the ILMAT Conference in Rome in 2025 in collaboration with Prof. O. Russina from UniSapienza.
