Prototyping technologies are devoted to the top-down tailoring of materials for the development of advanced electronic, magnetic, sensing, photonic, optoelectronic micro-nano prototypes deriving from the application of new physical mechanisms. The Microtechnology tools include all the techniques available at ISM operating at the micro and nanoscale for the development of such kind of innovative prototypes.
Prototyping extends the application range also to the development of advanced hardware and instrumentation, especially designed and fabricated with precision mechanical and electronic tools. Hardware & Vacuum Technology include all the tools relevant for the development of innovative instrumentation.
