A public selection procedure is hereby announced, based on qualifications and interview, for the assignment of n. 1 Post-Doctoral Fellowship for research activities relating to the Scientific Area of "Physical Sciences" to be carried out at the Trieste Secondary Office of CNR’s Institute of Structure of the Matter, which carries out research as part of the international research program EUROFEL ROADMAP - ESFRI for the following topic:
“Studies of the electronic structure of thin magnetic films by angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy”, under the scientific responsibility of Dr. Carlo Carbone.
“The research activity will be dedicated to the study of nanostructured materials constituted by ultrathin ferromagnetic films, grown by epitaxy on metallic substrates. The research will make use of angle-resolved photoemission methods in order to examine their electronic and magnetic properties. In particular, the object of investigation will be the properties of the structure of electronic bands and their modification in correspondence of magnetic phase transitions. The relation between the electronic properties and the structural and morphological properties of the films will also be examined.”
