Fast Transient Absorption/Reflectivity Spectroscopy (micro-FTAS)
EFSL - EuroFEL Support Laboratory -
This optical pump-probe technique involves excitation of the sample using the frequency-tunable light of an optical parametric amplifier; the sample is then probed with a time-delayed white light supercontinuum. Unlike the traditional FTAS, this spectrometer allows excitation and probing of the sample through the objective of a microscope.
