Description

The scientific activity of the Institute for Structure of Matter (ISM) originates from the integration of the traditional activities of the former Institute for Structure of Matter (ISM) and the Institute for Materials Chemistry (ICMAT) in the field of synthesis and characterization of innovative materials, which are produced and studied in the different institute locations with particular attention to their functionalities and their applications in the field of advanced devices.
