Analysis of the electronic and magnetic structure of low-dimensional and nanoscale-ordered systems with synchrotron light-related techniques.
From October 2006 technical coordinator of the VUV-Photoemission beam line at the synchrotron light source Elettra in Trieste. Specific duties: organization of the “in-house” research; coordination of the scientific activities of the beam line users; development of the instrumentation.
Competences: UHV technology, techniques of sample preparation and characterization (surface preparation of crystals, deposition of metals, semiconductors and molecules, low energy electron diffraction); angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy.
